Rambling Muse

Me, Myself and I!

meThe Rambling Beginnings

I started conceiving of Rambling Muse in early 2011 after finishing my masters. With my embossed Media and Communications degree, I thought I would work for a big bad commercial goods company. I would sell soap, shampoo and toothpaste to developing countries and then rule them and then be crowned queen, king and empress! But I got bored at all my interviews. And antsy. I realized the answer was to start my own company instead and be free to do what I wanted do. Rule my own dominion so to speak. Thus Rambling Muse was born.

The Rambling break-down

Rambling Muse unites my love for life, food, drink, travel and story telling. After all no one can be a complete sybarite, just stuff his or her mouth and never think about the wider implications of things! Ok, maybe you can but that would just make you an obese and mindless buffoon- who wants to be that?

Of course there is also an extensive section on the rainy city, London, which is where I am based. I complain a lot about the English capital, the Brits and of course the weather but truth be told, I would not have it any other way!

The Rambling low-down

As for me, I am Clarisse. Nice of you to make it down the page! A citizen of the world who has lived in Geneva, New York, Tokyo and now London, I basically call any cosmopolitan city home. I have a couple of degrees shoved somewhere in a corner of my parents’ home that are too boring to talk about here. I have a slight obsession with Asian food widely illustrated throughout the site. Last but not least I love a good story, thought and of course musing!

My Favorite Ramblings

Kamakura Kimonos about my time modeling in Tokyo

Paris Dentist about my crazy Paris times

London Calling about my shooting at clay pigeons outside London

The Princess and Emmental about a stinky princess- those exist too!

More, more and more!

  • vegetarian friendly Vegetarians can not only eat here but also choose from a decent variety of dishes. This excludes many of my Paris picks.
